Sweet and Spicy Toasted Nuts

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of your choice of mixed raw, unsalted nuts (raw almonds, raw cashews, raw pecans, hazelnuts, macadamias and brazil nuts)
  • 1 egg white
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 1½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 4 Sachets of Ripple Balanced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Combine spices, sugar, salt and Ripple in a small bowl, mix until even.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk egg white with 1 tsp water for 1 minute until frothy, add nuts to large bowl and toss until coated. Add spiced Ripple mix and toss until coated.
  4. Spread nuts onto lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes until nuts smell lightly toasted, stir and flip nuts with spatula and bake for another 8 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely before wrapping in small mason jars for gifting or get snacking solo!

Get creative with your spice mix! Try Maple + Cayenne, Ginger + Lime or Rosemary + Garlic.
